ANTM Host: There are lots of great questions for Ann so let's begin. Hi Ann and welcome to the chat. Are you ready to answer some questions from the fans?
Ann: Yes. Bring it on!

keke: How do you feel about last night's show?
Ann: Oh God! I felt that last night's show was very emotional for everyone, and I also felt that I wasn't portrayed correctly as far as the Eva situation. Just that the way Eva acted last night, showing emotion toward me in a positive way was how she was all along with me. And just for the record, Eva and I still talk.

big_ems: Ann, how did it feel to be eliminated? :-(
Ann: Well, it doesn't feel good. But, having made it so far in the competition, I know that I will find work no matter what.

BABY_phat: Are you mad you got voted off?
Ann: No, I'm not mad. But obviously it's disappointing not to be America's Next Top Model.

Jamell: What did your family say when you came home?
Ann: My dad cried, and my mom just said that she was proud of me, no matter what happened, and that I was a top model to her.

danamy: Ann, I was sorry to see you go. In the last few episodes, it seemed like you were trying "not to lose" instead of going for the "win." What happened to the drive of such a great athlete?
Ann: Well, with anything, when you're constantly being told negative comments, it would wear anyone down. But, I wouldn't say that I gave up. I just kind of knew that my time was coming and that I would be eliminated.

mazda_3girl: Ann, how did it feel to be in the last four?
Ann: It was a good feeling to know that I beat out 10 other girls and it was very exciting that I got as far as I did, and got to experience a lot more modeling than some of the other girls

jimbo: Last night before the judges, you looked like you were in front of a firing squad. Do you harbor any resentment toward the judges?
Ann: No, I think that the judges, despite what it seemed, were really trying to help me. But they were frustrated because they constantly told me how beautiful I was, yet they wanted to see that in the pictures. So, for them, it was hard to see me not take good pictures because they wanted me to take one so badly. I think their frustration was taken out verbally but I don't resent them or anything they said.

Lady: Ann, why did you not hug Eva in front of the judges after she forgave you before and took you with her to get jewelry? In the beginning you said you hoped Eva would win instead of you, so why are you tripping now that she may win?
Ann: I didn't hug Eva because before the elimination, everyone, Yaya and Amanda and I were discussing how we knew I was going to be the one who would be sent home, and Eva, for whatever reason, insisted that she was the one going home. So I resented the fact and took it personally that she couldn't just be there for me in a time when I needed her.

yelogrl: Ann, you lost a lot of fans because of your harsh treatment of Eva. Do you regret turning your back on her?
Ann: No, I don't regret what happened with Eva and me. You have to remember that a lot of what was filmed of what happened doesn't make it into the episode. So, for people to say that they no longer like me because of what happened with Eva and me I think is unfair because the only people who really know what happened are the two of us.

T_2: Ann, why did you get so upset about Eva's comment to Norelle? Did you not realize that she was just scared? Do you think that as her best friend in the house, you should have discussed it with her privately instead of in front of all the other girls?
Ann: I got upset about what Eva said because it made me wonder whether or not she would say that about me and at the time, I didn't take it as her frustration. If it really was frustration, she could have said it about anyone else that was left in the competition, but she chose to say it about someone that we were both close to. On the rooftop, Eva kept asking me what was wrong because I had been acting different towards her and I really did not want to discuss it in front of other people, but we started talking about it, and it blew up into this big ordeal.

AnnRocks: Ann, I could sense the jealousy Yaya had towards you and Eva on last night's episode. She doesn't seem like she takes losing a challenge easily. Was this part of her accurately portrayed on the show? And is there still jealousy?
Ann: I don't think Yaya was jealous. I think she was frustrated with the fact that she missed the go see, and therefore, she couldn't be happy that someone else won the challenge. Having won five challenges in a row, it would have been hard for me to break that streak.

iloveAnn: Ann, what did you write in that note to Eva?
Ann: Just that I still loved her as a friend and knew that after the show there was a lot of stuff we'd have to talk about.

canuk: Ann, did you ever feel like you were having fun? Your pictures always lacked joy.
Ann: I had a blast! As far as my pictures are concerned, I don't feel that I mastered modeling while I was on the show, but in time, with practice I feel that I will be able to take amazing pictures.

PradaKat: Have you ever modeled before in the past (before ANTM) or was this your first experience?
Ann: I did a little modeling for about a year before the show, but only when I had time in between school, water polo and working.

makini: Why does Eva call you Banana?
Ann: I guess at the beginning, she would call me Anna Banana and it just turned into Banana.

tart: Just to clear something up: who is your favorite actor and who is your favorite band?
Ann: Like I said on the show, I don't really have a favorite actor or actress. I like a wide variety of actors and actresses. As far as bands, I love 80s rock, and I would have to say Motley Crue and Poison.

bluegirl: Ann, I think you're so gorgeous, but the judges seemed to give your pictures a hard time. Which ones did they like and dislike, which ones did you like and dislike?
Ann: The judges liked my Lee jeans ad, my Alter Ego and they were divided on a number of other pictures. They disliked my trampoline pictures the Y. J. Stinger ad. I personally liked all of my pictures, except the Y. J. Stinger ad and the T Mobile ad.

Absoulute: How long did it take to heal from the YJ Stinger photo shoot?
Ann: It only took a couple of days for my bleeding chin and elbows to heal. And it didn't even hurt.

gmd: Ann, how do you feel about the NUMEROUS chances the judges gave you to send other candidates home?
Ann: I am grateful that the judges saw so much potential in me that they picked me to stay over the other girls four different times.

Dlux: Ann, do you think the judges were trying to help you become the next top model by giving you so much help and criticism?
Ann: I really do feel that the judges deep down inside, under all those nasty comments, really truly wanted to help me.

DawnThinksAnnRocks: They came down on you pretty hard for your lack of style. Do you plan on changing the way you dress?
Ann: No, I do not plan on changing the way I dress. I might add a couple essential pieces to my wardrobe, but I would never change anything about me as a person because someone said they didn't like it.

jimbo: Ann, you did look good in anime make up. Did you enjoy Japanese culture?
Ann: I enjoyed being in Japan because it enabled me to see a side of the world that I knew very little about and had never experienced before. But, I don't know if I could see myself adapting to that culture for a long period of time.

ccccccc: What did you think of the Tokyo street "fashion"?
Ann: I think it's the weirdest style I've ever seen and Eva said it correctly: put on whatever you don't think will go together and the Japanese will love it.

BigAnnFan: What were you feeling when you came in first in the Campbell's Japanese commercial week?
Ann: Coming in first really made me feel good and really helped me to realize that taking pictures is not the only aspect of the modeling industry, and that maybe I could have a future in commercial modeling or runway.

Astonished: Yaya won like 5 challenges. Do you think that if you had not been late, she would have won this challenge?
Ann: I can't say whether Yaya would have won that challenge, but her outfit represented Japanese street fashion very well.

ddbird: Why didn't you say anything to Jay when he started making you feel that you were not pretty enough to be there? It seemed to me that your self-esteem had gone low. Did it?
Ann: No, my self-esteem did not go low and I didn't see any point in arguing with Jay about my photos because he is entitled to his opinion. Jay and I had a very good relationship on the show, kind of the brother/sister love/hate sort of thing, and I didn't take personally anything he said and would work again with him in a heartbeat.

Heiress_Hilton: Ann: What did you think of Janice and Tyra? Do you regret being on the show?
Ann: Both Janice and Tyra were amazingly beautiful in person and both had very strong personalities, whether that's good or bad. I don't regret for one second being on this show because it has and will continue to open many doors for me.

Beyonce__Sista: I think J. Alexander likes you, Ann. What do you think?
Ann: I think J. Alexander likes me because I excelled at runway and he saw potential in me for runway. That excited him because that is the field that he deals with, but we didn't get the opportunity to get to know J. Alexander as much because runway wasn't as big a part of the show as was anything else.

Brazilian_Beauty: You're an extremely beautiful girl Ann! I'll be looking out for you on the runway VERY SOON! Who is your favorite supermodel?
Ann: Coming into this competition, I said that my favorite supermodel was Gabby Reece because she's an athlete as well as a model. That inspired me because it showed me that you're capable of doing both.

TOPMODEL_KELLE: Was Tyra a fair person?
Ann: I think Tyra was very fair throughout the competition, trying her best not to play favorites by constantly having one-on-one and two-on-one talks with all the girls and spending an equal amount of time with all the girls.

PradaKat: Ann, how was it like living with all those Drama Queens?
Ann: Well, if you put 14 girls in any house, there's bound to be drama. I don't think necessarily that a lot of the drama would have happened had we not been in the circumstances that we were. It was hard for me to live with 14 girls because I had never lived with that many girls and it was difficult to get used to.

ckim: Is Danilo as cool as he was on TV?
Ann: Danilo is the bomb! That man is THE most amazing hair stylist I have ever met. He could make anyone's hair do absolutely anything at any time. He was very down to earth, very cool and very helpful as far as giving us tips about the modeling industry.

ANNmyLOVE: How was it to kiss Norelle? Did you ever kiss a girl before?
Ann: Kissing Norelle was funny because she was so innocent and we asked Norelle if she had ever kissed one of her friends, and she said no. And yes, I've kissed a girl before, but just friends of mine when I'm saying goodbye and stuff.

dlux: Ann: do you think Amanda was going overboard about her "legally blind" status?
Ann: When I first got to the show, Amanda and I actually talked about her blindness and I mentioned something to her about how she constantly brought it up, but towards the end of the show, I started to see that it was important for Amanda to let people know of her disability because there were certain situations where if someone didn't know, she might be putting herself in danger of being hurt... I think with Amanda, it's something that she's very proud of, that she's been able to put aside her disability and still pursue her dream. I respect that very much and do not think that she brought her disability up ever out of context.

annerules: Ann, it was pretty clear what kind of relationship you and Eva shared, but how did you get along with Amanda? I didn't see a lot of footage of you two hanging out. Do you consider her a friend as well?
Ann: Since the show, Amanda and I have become unbelievably close and while we were on the show, we were close, but not as close as Eva and I were. I don't think that it was ever shown--my friendship with Amanda--but that's not to say that it doesn't exist.

Jamell: Out of all the girls, who was your favorite and why?
Ann: Obviously, I was the closest to Eva, but I would say that Norelle, Yaya and Amanda and I all have very good friendships now.

jill57ca: Hey Ann, I was rooting for you all the way! It's obvious that you are a great athlete and competitor. Do you feel that your history in competing brought you any advantages or disadvantages?
Ann: I think it brought me goals as far as advantages, simply that we were in a competition and I'm used to competing, but athletics has taught me to know when it's time to compete and when it's time to have fun and I think that was very important on the show. Even though it was a competition, not everything on the show needed to be dealt with in that way and I think I was able to have fun and lighten the mood when I could. As far as disadvantages, I would say that being an athlete hurt me because I wasn't able to be graceful at times when I needed to be. Water polo is a tough sport and doesn't require a lot of grace, so it was hard for me to try and go from being this tough athlete to the graceful ballerina dancer.

jenz_11: Ann, what do you think was the most valuable thing you learned on ANTM?
Ann: The most valuable thing I learned was to always remain true to myself and not let what other people say determine whether or not I'm going to follow my dream.

Akyriel: Ann: What has your fame done to help or hinder your future plans?
Ann: I think my fame has helped me to be seen by people in the industry that would hopefully encourage them to want to work with me.

jenz_11: Ann, now that TOP MODEL is over, what are your plans?
Ann: I plan to move to New York City in January and sign with an agency and begin practicing and working towards making modeling my full time career. I plan to take off the semester of school only because I know I've been given an amazing opportunity and I can always go back to school.

iloveAnn: Ann, do you have any advice to other girls who wish to apply to the show?
Ann: Just be yourself and be confident in your abilities and never change your belief because you think that is what people will like.
